The village emblem was adopted on Apr 1st 1977 by Ordinance No 4 but there is no flag law. The white flag has a green village emblem in the center. The village emblem is a stylized katakana イヘ Ihe of Iheya in a form of a flying bird. It represents the village’s reconciliation, peace, solidarity and strong surge and development of the industrial culture.
