The village emblem was adopted on Nov 8th 1973 but there is no flag law. The white flag has a yellow and a green two color village emblem in the center and the kanji name in black horizontally at the bottom. The village emblem is a stylized kanji 今 Na of Nakijin. The triangle flame symbolizes the village people’s independence and unlimited possibility, the circle does peace, repletion and co-prosperity and two chevrons do equality and democracy.
