The village emblem was adopted on Dec 18th 1971 but there is no flag law. The purple flag has a white village emblem in the center and the kanji name in white horizontally at the bottom. The village emblem is a stylized katakana トナキ Tonaki. The circle symbolizes the village people’s solidarity, two bars do the village’s unlimited prosperity and キ does peace and development.
