Fire and Disaster Management Agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs & Communications
was established on Jul 1st 1960 to controll fire-fighting operation in Japan which is different from TFD = Tokyo
Fire Department under controll of Tokyo Metropolis Government established in 1948.
FDMA adopted three flags on Mar 29th 2005.

sunrays, snow crystal, hose pipes, water cannons and plume of water in a cherry blossom.
