The Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA) is an independent agency of the Japanese government that coordinates official development assistance, assisting with economic and social growth in developing countries around the world, and promoting international cooperation.

The Flag

A desk flag for JICA can be seen on page 53 of the CEI-RD brochure that Esteban posted to the list. The flag features the JICA logo in white on a blue field. The logo itself is the acronym "jicA" in lowercase letters (except for a capital "A"), with the dot of the "i" intersecting with a larger white circle (almost like a Venn diagram) and the overlapping portions of the circles the same color as the field.

The blue flag in the brochure could be a previous flag.(but date is uknown).
