Overview

Vilkaviskis (Vilkaviskis District) - on a white field the arms of Vilkaviskis: double fleur-de-lys. Flag proportions 2:3, free edges bordered with a narrow red stripe, fringe is silver, finial is a golden top of fleur-de-lys and silver bands. The arms granted in 1660 come from the arms of the noble Pacas house, and it are related most likely to Kristupas Zigmantas Pacas, the chancellor of Lithuania, who was also the then elder of Vilkaviskis.
