Overview

Pilviskiai (Vilkaviskis District) - on blue field the arms of Pilviskiai: St. John of Nepomuk. Flag proportions 10:13, fringe is silver, finial is golden tip with silver bands. The charge of arms granted in 1791 was chosen by citizens and provided for King's approval. St. John of Nepomuk was one of most popular saints in Lithuania of late 18th century, also his "specialty" is protection against fatalities of water: that was very important for town located at Nemunas river.
