Overview

Joniskelis (Pasvalys District) - on blue field silver clover trefoil among three golden six-pointed stars two over one. Flag proportions 10:11, free edges bordered with silver rope, finial is golden knob with ring. The trefoil symbolizes both the Joniskelis agriculture school (established in 1810 the most important centre of agricultural education in Northern Lithuania) and local Trinity church. The stars come from the arms of noble Karpis family, which owned Joniskelis a few centuries, also they symbolize famous people of this land.
