Naujoji Akmene (also serving as the flag of Akmene District) -
on a yellow field the arms of Naujoji Akmene: two crossed picks
and an orb of flames. Flag proportions 10:13, free edges bordered
with a narrow silver stripe, finial is a golden knob. The picks
represent the traditional mining of limestone, and the orb of
flames represents the actual main business of town: the cement
industry.
