Overview

The flag and the coat of arms of Visaginas city (Utena county - Utenos apskritis). The flag is drawn by me according to my personal observation. The coat of arms I drew according to the picture from the book: The Heraldry of Lithuania.

Visaginas City - On a blue field a golden armed silver crane. Flag proportions 2:3, free edges bordered with a narrow golden stripe, fringe is silver, finial is a golden water lily and silver bands. The charge symbolizes caution and vigilance: Visaginas is the site of a nuclear power plant.
