Presentation of Miaks

Miaks (Mijaci) are the members of the Miak tribe, one of Macedonian tribes, who live in the western parts of Macedonia.

Many Miak flags from the 14th to the 20th centuries have been documented. Dr. Snezana Filipova, Vice President of the Macedonian Heraldry Society has published a bilingual (Macedonian-English) article on Miak flags in Macedonian Herald, Vol. 1, May 2005.
