Aa en Hunze municipality

The new municipality of Aa en Hunze in northeast-Drenthe. It comprises the former municipalities of Anloo,
Gieten, Gasselte and Rolde with a population of c. 25.000 on 276 sq. km. Aa and Hunze are both small rivers.

The merger took place on 1 Jan 1998, the flag was adopted on 9 July 1998.
