Voorhout municipality

Population (1 Jan 2003): 14.458; area: 12,62 km². Settlements: Voorhout, Piet Gijzenbrug (part), Teijlingen.
Flag adopted 16 Mar 1972 by municipal resolution.
Description: three equally wide horizontal stripes of white and blue with overall towards the hoist a red St. Andrew's cross.

On 1 January 2006 Voorhout merged with Sassenheim and Warmond to form the new municipality of Teylingen.
