Gmina Kotla is a rural gmina (commune) in Głogów County, Lower Silesian Voivodship, in south-western Poland. Its largest village and administrative seat is Kotla, which lies approximately 11 kilometres (6.8 mi) north of Głogów and 98 km (61 mi) north-west of the regional capital Wrocław.

Rumors were circulated about German authorities hiding there valuables and documents taken from Głogów just before the advance of the Red Army in April 1945. To this day no treasures were found, but...keep looking...

Flag: a rectangle composed of three equal vertical bands in the colors of the commune: light blue - yellow - dark red.
