Zławieś Wielka - rural commune, Toruń County, Kujawsko-pomorskie Voivodship - former German name: Groß Bösendorf.
The Commune Council adopted the Arms and the flag on April 26, 2002 (Resolution # XX/231/2002)

"The Arms of the Commune derive from the Coat of Arms of Torun as the most of the territory of the commune belonged for about.400 years to that city.
The shield with the defensive wall in the hands of the Angel in the Arms of Torun, was replaced by the sheaf of wheat, symbolizing the agricultural character of the commune.

The flag of the Commune is composed of two vertical bands equal in width: white and red. In the middle of the white band, the Arms are superimposed."
