Korytnica - rural commune, Węgrów County, Mazowieckie Voivodship.
Gmina Korytnica is a rural gmina (commune) in Węgrów County, Masovian
Voivodship, in east-central Poland. Its seat is the village of Korytnica,
which lies approximately 11 kilometres (7 mi) west of Węgrów and 60 km
(37 mi) north-east of Warsaw.
Area: 180.54 sq.km (69.7 sq.mi); Population: 6,745 (2006).

First mentioned in 1419 as a princely, later royal village.
