Czernichów - rural commune, Kraków County, Małopolskie Voivodship.
Site of the oldest agricultural school in Poland.
Arms and flag were adopted on June 27, 2003 (resolution # X/56/03).
"Arms: on the blue shield, a golden boat with two silver oars. Above
it, an Eye of Providence with alternating, gold and silver rays.
Flag: a rectangle in proportions 5:8 of yellow color with two vertical
bands on both sides in blue color. Side bands are 1/5 of the width of the
yellow field.
The Arms are placed centrally on the yellow part of the flag.
