Roźwienica - rural commune, Jarosław County, Podkarpackie Voivodship.
Gmina Roźwienica is a rural gmina (commune) in Jarosław County, Subcarpathian
Voivodship, in south-eastern Poland. Its seat is the village of Roźwienica.
It lies approximately 10 kilometres (6 mi) south-west of Jarosław and 43
km (27 mi) east of the regional capital Rzeszów.
Area: 70.69 sq.km (27.3 sq.mi); Population: 6,395 (2006).
land under cultivation - 74%; forests - 19%.
A typical agricultural commune, sparsely forested. Far from the highways,
byways and noises of big cities - reminiscent of the charms of the good
old Galician countryside.
Arms and flag adopted on March 31, 2004 (resolution # 109/XIV/2004).
"Arms: a double, red cross on the white shield.
Flag: a horizontal bi-color of white over red with the Arms placed
on the white band."
