First mentioned around 1300, appears in the documents in 1308 as Coronovatiz or Durndorf when placed under the ownership of the Dominican Sisters.
Spectacular views, as the village is located high above the River Odra Valley.

Arms and flag adopted on November 11, 2000 (resolution # XXVII/122/2000).
"Arms: shield divided vertically into two halves.
Right field is blue with the golden half of the oak tree.
Left field is white with the green half of the linden tree.
The Arms correspond to the agricultural and recreational character of the commune.

Flag: rectangular piece of cloth in the dimensions 160 cm by 100 cm composed of three equal vertical bands in the sequence from the hoist: blue-white green. The Arms are placed on the middle, white band."

Would a blazon of these arms be something like: "impaled by dimidiation Azure an oak tree eradicated Or, Argent a linden tree eradicated vert"?
