Gmina Wręczyca Wielka is a rural gmina (commune) in Kłobuck County,
Silesian Voivodeship, in southern Poland. Its seat is the village of Wręczyca
Wielka, which lies approximately 8 kilometres (5 mi) south of Kłobuck and
67 km (42 mi) north of the regional capital Katowice.
Area: 148.07 sq.km (57.2 sq.mi); Population: 17,123 (2006).
First mentioned in XII century.
Arms and flag adopted on April 15, 2003 (resolution # V/50/2003).
"Arms: milling wheel powered by a raging river and flanked by two oak
branches.
Below, on green, is a miner's lamp.
Flag: a rectangle composed of three equal horizontal bands: white-blue-green."
