Dziwnów - urban-rural commune, Kamień Pomorski County, Zachodnio-pomorskie Voivodship - German name: Dievenov.
Gmina Dziwnów is an urban-rural gmina (commune) in Kamień County, West Pomeranian Voivodship, in north-western Poland. Its seat is the town of Dziwnów, which lies approximately 6 kilometres (4 mi) north-west of Kamień Pomorski and 68 km (42 mi) north of the regional capital Szczecin.
Area: 37.91 sq.km (14.6 sq.mi); Population: 4,148 (2006).

First mentioned in 1243
In 1820-30 it became a fashionable spa with salty mineral waters and peloids and a vacation-on-the-sea-coast spot.
The peloids and mineral waters are gone by now, but Dziwnów remains a popular tourist attraction.
City rights since January 1, 2004.

Arms and flag adopted on June 22, 2004 (resolution # XVII/195/2004).
"Arms: on the two-part shield, on the upper, blue field a white seagull ("mewa") in flight.
On the lower, yellow field a blue sea holly (Eryngium maritimum) or "mikołajek nadmorski" in Polish.

Flag: rectangle in the ratio 5:8.
Colors and look: from the left - vertical band in blue 1/4; vertical white band 2/4; vertical yellow band 1/4.
On the white band the Arms are placed."
