Shield Or, an olive tree eradicated Vert fruited Sable, in chief a sword Gules between a bunch of grapes Purpure leaved Vert and a sheaf of wheat Vert tied Gules, in base a bar wavy Azure chatrged with a barrulet wavy Argent. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case letters "ERVIDEL".

Ervidel Commune is one of the four communes of the Aljustrel Municipality (q.v.); it had 1309 inhabitants in 2001 and covers 37,71 km².
