Shield Argent, in base a wall issuant Gules masoned Sable, in central chief a windmill wheel Sable rigged Gules, flanked by branch of olive Vert fruited Sable at dexter and a plant of vine Vert bearing two grapevines Purpure at sinister. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials: "VILA NOVA DE S. PEDRO".

Meaning:
The fleur-de-lis is an attribute of Our Lady of Immaculate Conception, the local patron saint.
