Shield Azure, with base wavy of Argent and Azure, a bezant charged with an eagle Sable lined Argent, in chief three Greek crosslets Argent set in fess (though blazon says Latin crosses). Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank)and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "AREIAS DE VILAR".
