Meaning:
"Ninho do Açor" means "goshawk's nest", nest and bird are thus canting.

Ninho do Açor Commune was one of the pre-2013 communes of Castelo Branco Municipality; it had 380 inhabitants in 2011 and covered 11.8 km².

Meaning:
The cork oak (Port.: sobreiro) is canting. The arrows are an attribute of St. Sebastian, the local patron saint.
