The arms are Vert a rake Or between two corn cobs Or leaved Argent over base barry wavy Argent and Azure of four orders. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case letters "MADAIL".

Madail Commune (often misspelled "Madaíl") was one of the communes of Oliveira de Azeméis Municipality (q.v.); it had 884 inhabitants in 2001 and covered 2,60 km².
