Shield Azure, in base two arms Proper one arm dressed Or and the other Argent, in honour point a man's head Proper with hair and beard Sable, nimbed Or. Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (town rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials "PANÓIAS - OURIQUE".
Similar arms are already displayed in Ignacio de Vilhena Barbosa: "As Cidades e Villas da Monarchia portugueza que teem brasão d'armas", vol.2, p. 109, Lisboa 1860. The arms in base are dressed yellow and crimson, the head is smaller, not nimbed and with fair hair and beard and explicitely described as head of Jesus Christ. The meaning of the crossed arms is not explained.

Panóias Commune was one of the pre-2013 communes of Ourique Municipality (q.v.); it had 496 inhabitants in 2011 and covered 110.3 km².

Meaning:
The crown is referring to Our Lady of Conception, the local patron saint, the chimney to the local heritage, the wheat ears are symbolizing agriculture.
