Presentation of Cumeeira

Cumeeira Commune is one of the four communes of Penela Municipality (q.v.); it had 1273 inhabitants in 2001 and covers 19,53 km². "Cumeeira" is one of several Portuguese words that mean "summit" or "ridge", so the arms are partly canting.
