Coat of arms

Shield Gules with base wavy of Argent and Azure, the central wave charged with a lamprey Or, a grill Or set in pale. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials "TOUVEDO - S. LOURENÇO"
Meaning:
The grill is an attribute of St. Lawrence, the local patron saint. The base wavy is representing Lima River. The lamprey is symbolizing fishing in that river.

São Lourenço de Touvedo Commune was one of the pre-2013 communes of Ponte da Barca Municipality (q.v.); it had 210 inhabitants in 2011 and covered 2.7 km².

Coat of arms

Shield Gules with base Azure, crowned by a barrage Argent, in central chief an orb Argent garnished Sable and crowned by a cross Or, in centre two grapevines Argent leaved Or ordered per fess. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank)and white scroll with inscription in black initials "TOUVEDO - SALVADOR".
Meaning:
The orb is an attribute of Jesus Christ, being the local patron saint as the Divine Saviour.
