Shield Or with base wavy of Azure and Argent, a falcon proper hooded Sable flanked by two paly wheat ears Vert. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials: "FREGUESIA DE SALVATERRA DE MAGOS".
Meaning:
The falcon is symbolizing the royal falconry, located in Salvaterra de Magos, when the royal court and family visited the town. He is also symbolizing the importance and the splendour and the heritage of the town. The wheat ears are symbolizing agriculture and the fertile soil of the commune for many years giving an economic base for the people. The base wavy is representing the Tejo river and its economic importance for transports by ship.

Salvaterra de Magos Commune was one of the pre-2013 communes of Salvaterra de Magos Municipality (q.v.); it had 5526 inhabitants in 2011 and covered 35.0 km².
