Shield Or parted by a bend wavy Azure fivefold divided into Azure and Argent, in sinister chief a cogwheel Vert, in dexter base a dolmen Gules. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials "CORONADO - S. ROMÃO".
Meaning:
The bend wavy is representing the banks of Mamoa and São Romão creek. The dolmen is symbolizing the very early settlements in the area and is alluding to the former name Mamoa de São Romão do Coronado. The cogwheel is symbolizing industries.
