The arms are Gules two bunches of grapes Or leaved Argent set in fess, in chief two interlocked annulets Or topped by a coronet (ancient crown) Or bejewelled Vert, in base a millwheel Argent. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case letters "TAGILDE - VIZELA".

Tagilde Commune was one of the pre-2013 communes of Vizela Municipality (q.v.); it had 1366 inhabitants in 2001 and covered 25,39 km².
