It is a fairly typical Portuguese communal flag, with the coat of arms centred on a plain yellow background (village rank).

The arms are Azure two flax flowers Argent emphasized Gules seeded Or and issuant from a base wavy Argent charged with a barrulet wavy Azure a three-arch bridge Argent masoned sable. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case letters "TOURO".
