"The cross represents the sacrifice Jesus made at Calvary for our sins and red represents the shed blood. The white field represents the purity of the sacrifice. The sword represents the Word of God which is the weapon of our warfare. The fire represents the Holy Spirit who illuminates the Word of God to the believer and brings revelation of the truth to be burned deep into our hearts. The blue field represents faith. We believers are to have faith not only in just the sacrifice that Jesus made, but in the whole Word of God. This flag also represents the Trinity of God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit."

"This God inspired design was given to Pete Nelson in a vision in 2000. The purpose of this design was to create and end-time "battle standard" (flag) for the believers of Jesus Christ. It is not a traditional, denominational or "static" flag. This flag is meant to unite the Body of Christ as a mighty Army of God and reaffirm that Jesus is alive and will soon return." -- and is copyrighted by P. Nelson.

This flag is not apparently authorised or endorsed by any recognisable corporate body. It is also inspired by a late 19th century Anglo-American theology (Darby's pre-millennial dispensationalism) which most of its adherents fail to recognise as being that modern, and which most Christians reject.

Although it will never achieve the same fame, this flag bears interesting parallels to the standard of Jeanne d'Arc and should likewise be seen as a product of its times. A good study with illustrations can be found here http://www.stjoan-center.com/j-cc/
