The municipality of Stari Grad ("Old Town"), part of the town of Belgrade has adopted a coat of arms and flag designed by the Serbian Heraldry Society.
The flag is based on the first known coat of arms of Belgrade, dating from the 13-14th century. Stari Grad is the the oldest part of Belgrade city.

The coat of arms can be blazoned as:

Per fess, gules a tower argent windowed and lined sable, on each side on a stone argent a double cross barred or; barry of six argent and gules.
