About the flag

Maloyaroslavyets is in Kaluga region, southwest of Moscow, at 55.00°N, 36.28°E.
Jarig Bakker, 09 Mar 2002

There is a connection with Yarolsavl’ city (situated 400 km NNE, opposite to Moscow) as Maloâroslavec means something like "little [or lesser] yaroslavian". The flag reflects this by re-using Yarolsav’s famous halebard-bearing bear.

The red “wolf teeth” border, I guess, stands for the local red clay brick citadel.
