About the flag

Flag adopted 17 June, 1998. Author; I. Smetannikov. The reel of a yarn symbolizes local industry. Head of the elk is a canting element ("los" = "elk"). In the past factories in this town made uniform for the army from the lamb’s leather. Fountain symbolizes spings of mineral water. Y-cross synbolizes rivers Vorya and Klyazma. Ratio 2:3.
