About the flag

This flag is at www.hmao.wsnet.ru/english/powerE/mest1.htm.
Jens Pattke, 31 May 2002

White and blue stripes placed at the hoist. (There is no white stripe between blue and green.) Ratio 3:2; widths: 1(white) + 2(blue) + 1(white) + 2(blue) + 1(white) + 30 (blue over green). These two vertical blue stripes symbolize two small rivers: Inga-Yagun and Kirill-Vysjagun. Flag was adopted by Decision #55, of 29 September 1998.
Victor Lomantsov, 29 Dec 2002

Its design was clearly influenced by the flag of Yugra itself.
António Martins, 28 Nov 2002
