Overview

Around that time there was a “North Caucasian Federation” (or perhaps “Federation of the Peoples of the Northern Caucasus”, each source gives another name) which comprised seven peoples. The Flag Bulletin [tfb] 148 (1992), p. 184, gives two flags for this state:

  • seven horizontal stripes in green-white with a light blue canton with seven yellow stars (in use until 1919);
  • plain red with a green canton with seven white stars and a crescent;
unfortunately no pictures are given.
