Saudi Aramco (Arabic: أرامكو السعودية‎  - 'Arāmkō s-Sa'ūdiyyah), officially the Saudi Arabian Oil Co., is a Saudi Arabian national oil and natural gas company. It is the biggest State owned oil corporation in the world, the world's most valuable company and operates the biggest oil reserve in the world. It was established in 1933 as California-Arabian Standard Oil Co. (by the interest in the region discovered and fostered by the Standard Oil Co.by the discovery of the greatest energy reserves in the world, located in that region), then changed its name in 1944 as Aramco and then again in 1988 as Saudi Aramco.
