this image shows a soviet flag typical of the period: 1:2 red
cloth with golden yellow emblem and inscriptions on the upper hoist
area, reading "AzSSR" in large size under a large hammer and sickle
emblem, without star, and below it, "Nahçüvan MSSR"
and "Նախիջեվան
ՄՍՍՀ", in two lines of smaller text, all
centered to a common vertical axis and composed with a serifed
typeface.

was changed to cirilic characters and the armenian name
disappeared, but this is not certain.
