According to the Thai Ministry of Interior in 2000, the flag of Loei was green with a yellow provincial emblem (stupa) inside a yellow ring, and the name of the province on a yellow label beneath. On an image, the emblem was on the right side on the flag, but the image was obviously cut, and one can think that it was in fact supposed to be in the center of the flag.
