According to the Thai Ministry of Interior in 2000, the flag of Ya La
province looked horizontally divided green over yellow with the provincial seal
in the center including a red garuda and the name of the province on a yellow
label. The provincial flag is in fact green over white with the provincial seal
in the center including a red garuda and the name of the province on a yellow
