Pacific International Lines (Pte) Ltd. as it was renamed 3.6.1971, having been formed in 1967, has used the same flag format for some of its subsidiaries/joint ventures by changing the lettering. Thus Advance Container Line of Singapore has "ACL," Malaysia Shipping Corporation Sendirian Berhad of Kuala Lampur, Malaysia "MSC," Pacific Eagle Lines Pte Ltd. of Singapore "PEL," Pacific Seatran Lines Ltd. of Bangkok, Thailand "PS" and P.T. Pilindo Megah Selatan of Jakarta, Indonesia "PMS."

Thai International Maritime Enterprises Ltd., Bangkok - the Thai flag with a white diamond outlined blue in the center, containing red "T" over blue "IME."

That is actually the "negative" of the Thai flag, or the flag of Costa Rica.
