Students Movement in Dili has called on
Timor Telecom Company to respect Timor-Leste's national symbols like the
national flag as it changed the part of the flag with bright blue color,
showing the company's symbol. The Students Movement strongly criticized the
company as it does not respect the country's flag, saying such an attitude
is violation against the state symbols. The movement's representative
protested TT Company because it has created confusion in the country. Such
an attitude, showing that TT Company does not respect the country's national
symbols, Students representative said during a press conference which was
held yesterday. The incident happened during the AFF Cup [Asian Association]
foot ball championship at Dili's Municipal Stadium recently.
