The flag of Nasreddin Hoca (photo) is white with the municipality's emblem. "Belediyesi" means "Municipality".

The emblem pictures the town's namesake, Nasreddin Hoca. A Seljuk satirical Sufi figure, very popular in the Islamic world, Nasreddin Hoca lived in the 13th century and is considered as a folk philosopher and a wise man, remembered for his funny stories and anecdotes.
The story associated with the emblem says that Nasreddin once wanted to climb up on a donkey, but first put his right foot in the stirrups. When he got on the donkey, his face turned towards the tail. People asked him: "Why did you get turned upside down?" He replied: "I have not gone awry, but the donkey turned upside down" (Isaković, 1987: 34).
