The former district municipality of Trabzon was renamed Ortahisar in 2014.
The flag of Ortahisar is either blue (photo) or white (photo) with the municipality's emblem in the middle. "Belediyesi" means "Municipality".

Trabzonspor Club (Trabzonspor Kulübü), the football club of the town of Trabzon, is one of the "Big Four", together with Galatasaray, Fenerbahçe and Beşiktaş, which have won the title of national champion until 2010.
