Flag of the Turkish Sailing Federation, horizontal and vertical versions - Images by Ivan Sache, 2 May 2012
The Turkish Sailing Federation (Türkiye Yelken Federasyonu - TYF) was founded in 1957.
The flag of TYF is white with the federation's logo in the middle. It
is used either horizontally (photo, no longer online) or vertically (photo).
The logo of TYF shows a stylized sailboat on two stylized blue waves,
on the left of the sails a red sun disk charged with a white crescent
and star. The year of foundation, "1957", is written in light blue
letters between the sails and the waves. Under the waves is the
writing "TYF" (dark blue) / TÜRKIYE YELKEN / FEDERASYONU (light
blue)".

Burgee of EMYR - Image by Ivan Sache, 19 December 2009
The Eastern Mediterranean Yacht Rally (EMYR) was inaugurated in 1990 by a small fleet of 17 boats sailing from Istanbul to Girne (Northern Cyprus; in Greek, Kyrenia) via the Turkish coast. In 1995, the rally route was extended to Syria, Lebanon and Egypt and, subsequently to Israel. In 2008, a fleet deliberately limited to 80 yachts representing 19 countries completed the rally.
The burgee of EMYR is white with two overlapping red triangles placed
along the hoist, "E.M.Y.R." in blue Futura letters and "since 1990" in
smaller red Futura letters in the white part.
The burgee can be seen, as presented by the Lebanese members of EMYR,
on a photo available on the EMYR website. It can also be seen, as hoisted on the Troll, on photos of EMYR 2008 made by Gérard Bachy.
