Heraldry:
"It was confirmed at 2002. A dark blue rectangular panel
with a ratio of the sides as 2:3, at which in the top corner from
a staff is the yellow emblem of area (post horn through which the
cossack sabre is passed). Below it is a white wavy horizontal
strip in width of 2/7 width of a flag, distance of a strip from
the bottom edge of a panel equals 1/14 width of a flag."

Heraldry:
"It was confirmed at 2002. In an azure shield above the
argent wavy reduced fess is or post horn, through which passed or
cossack sabre bend sinister. The author is M.Javtushenko.
Application of the post horn with a cossack sabre is explained by
a historic fact - in XVIII century on the territory of area
passed a post way which was protected by cossacks. The board is
framed by a or vegetative composition (vibutnum brush, ashen and
maple foliage, wheaten ears and decorative branches), is
completed by the or opened book above which is the or
sun-sunflower. Plants are twined by dark-blue tape with the or
motto "JOB AND WELL-BEING". The argent wavy fess means
the Dnipro river, on the right bank of which is the area. Azure
color symbolizes cossack glory and honour, fidelity of
descendants to spiritual traditions of ancestors."
