"It was confirmed at 2001. In an or field is vert point
reversed, in which is laying or deer.
The or characterizes region with the agriculture in which major
occupation is arable farming, symbolizes natural and cultural
riches of territory. The vert edge represents the important
feature of territory - the large forest known under the name the
Black wood. Connection of or and vert maens a geographical
arrangement of area on border of forest-steppe and steppe zones.
The figure of the or deer taken of a decor or sword sheath of the
Scythian tsar which tomb was in territory of area and has been
dug out in 1763. This find testifies that the grounds of
territory during ancient times entered in a human civilization.
The shield is crowned with a or wheaten sheaf which is
accompanied on each side by two or decorative branches. Mantle is
made out as the argent towel embroidered with a blue-yellow
Ukrainian ornament. The shield on each side is decorated with a
composition from or maple, ashen and oak leaves which represent
the basic breeds of trees of woods. The motto of the arms is
"IN PEACE - TO WELL-BEING" - is written by or letters
on dark-blue tape which borders the or railway emblem reminding
about railway communications existing in the region. The authors
are V.E.Kryvenko, K.V.Shljahovyi."
